Privacy Policy
Our Commitment to Privacy
At Think New Mexico, one of our top priorities is making sure any information we have about you is protected and secure. We value our relationship with you and work hard to preserve your privacy. This privacy policy statement explains how we obtain, use, and protect your nonpublic personal information.
How Think New Mexico Obtains Nonpublic Personal Information
We obtain nonpublic personal information about you in two ways:
- From transactional activity (i.e. contributions).
- From other sources with your consent or with the consent of your representative (for example, from investment institutions if you transfer securities or funds to us).
How Think New Mexico Uses Nonpublic Personal Information
We generally do not need, and therefore do not use, nonpublic information.
However, we share nonpublic personal information (e.g. copies of checks) with our auditors once a year, so that they can perform an audit of our books. We may also share nonpublic personal information to process transactions. We publish an annual report which lists our supporters, but not the amount of their contributions. We believe the public is entitled to know who supports our work. Occasionally, supporters ask that we list them as anonymous and we honor all such requests.
How Think New Mexico Protects Nonpublic Personal Information
As part of our commitment to privacy, we do not sell or share donor names or information to any firm or non-profit organization for their fundraising or any other purposes.
Think New Mexico maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
